My Style

First, it’s important to make sure we’re a good fit. My style often incorporates a colorful combination of watercolor and illustration techniques. I love doing aura portraits, animal totems, and spiritually-themed works.

What I don’t do:

I am not a standard/realistic portrait painter. I do not paint family portraits, animal portraits, or anything outside of my artistic style. Additionally, I do not paint still lifes, landscapes, or inanimate objects. Lastly, I do not create logos. I am a traditional artist who uses traditional painting tools. If you want a watercolor image for a website, digital project, or brand, a graphic designer will be better suited for your needs.

Aura Portraits

An aura portrait is a portrait that retains a loose likeness of yourself but is made with the colors I perceive in your aura.

Each aura portrait comes with a one-page aura reading. Aura portraits take roughly 8-12 weeks to complete.

What I need from you:

I will need a high-resolution (high-quality) black-and-white photo of you to use as the basis of the painting. Creative liberty with color usage is necessary for an accurate painting. All portraits are painted on Aquarelle cold-pressed or hot-pressed watercolor block (your choice).

Watercolor Flowers

I adore the language of floriography. Floriography is the language of flowers, and is even considered an art form. Each flower has meaning and symbolism. These meanings can combine to create beautiful, unique messages.

You don’t have to memorize the meaning of each flower, either. If you would like a particular message, I can choose a flower (or boquet) to represent the meaning you wish to convey.

I can also imbue these flowers with spiritual intentions — such as love, abundance, intuition, or protection. The intention-setting process includes watercolor paints made out of genuine crystals and stones. This assists in creating the frequencies you desire. The Process

The process will start with an initial sketch (based on reference photos for aura portraits). I will then channel and rough sketch the colors (with notes). Over the course of the creative process, I will send 2-3 progress photos to the client. There will also be a simple contract to protect our interests and expectations.
